January 3, 2011
I am not an early person. I like to work late at night. However, I was up at around two o’clock this morning. There was an incident in our house that made us all panic. Not giving much details about the incident it involved: FootSteps, Security Alarm System and Cops.
It was a false alarm.
However, during this period, everyone of us inside the house (including myself, my brother, my wife and sister-in-law) were shocked. We were trying to gather our thoughts and give each other the strength and support. We worked together to make sure everyone of us were safe. We cared.
What this incident made us realize is:
I am very lucky to have such a great family. So, I guess for me: It’s not the best of the times that make me feel closer, but it’s the most difficult of times that helps me realize how much all of us care about each other. This is day 3 in 2011.
