Personal Branding

Imagine, I am looking for a marketing agency to promote my brand.

I run one of the reputed companies in the city, hence I want a trusted marketing agency who will not only take care of my company’s reputation but will grow it even further.

3 agencies tried pitching me, let’s call them Agency A, Agency B and Agency C.

I had a meeting with all three and finally chose Agency C.

Why?

Because I know the CEO of Agency C. I have seen his videos and blogs, he really knows what he says. I think I can trust him.

That’s the power of Personal Branding!

Remember, people don’t usually give their hard-earned money to someone who is not authentic and completely unknown to them.

You need to be a trustworthy person for that.

Not only this, let me tell you, if you are a student and looking for a job, you can get tons of opportunities if you have a strong personal brand.

Simple psychology, the majority of iPhone users upload their mirror selfies on Social Media? What does it state? Their affiliation towards a brand.

People prefer the brand over ordinary, deal with it.

Thus, if as an individual you want to stand out, you need to focus on personal branding.

Another major importance of personal branding is attracting great talent to the company.

According to a recent study, a CEO’s reputation plays a vital role in attracting employees to a company (77%) as well as motivating them to stay (70%).

Apart from this, personal branding opens up so many opportunities –

  • Job Interviews

  • Internships

  • Speaking Engagements

  • Networking opportunities

  • Promotions

  • Partnership

  • And more.

Richard Branson, Gary Vaynerchuk, Tony Robbins are some of the well-known personal branding examples. Who won’t like to work with them? They have generated trust over the period of time.

2020 has started. Competition is arising. Do you want that contract? Well, many others are pitching for that. Do you want that job? Many others are prepping up to give an interview.

Personal Branding helps you stand out from the crowd.

I don’t know about your new year’s resolutions, but this “Personal Branding” thing definitely deserves a place there!
