I was 13 at that time and I was confused.
I wasn't the A student you would be expecting.
Those words made me doubt myself even more.
That year, I failed in 2 different subjects.
Failure had become the highlight of that year.
I couldn't face my family and my friends.
But, something had to change.
Lucky for me, my family was very supportive.
They listened to me.
They understood me.
They gave me another chance.
I remember my parents telling me, "We know you have the potential. Just try your best".
That one sentence changed my life.
Since then, I got good grades.
I passed my exams.
I felt good.
And, till today, I'm grateful for the inspiration from my family.
Words are powerful. They can create or they can destroy. Choose your words wisely.
